At the heart of SAISEI is the idea that what we wear should move naturally through life. Pieces should not belong to a single moment, setting or way of being. They should adapt, layer and become part of the everyday.

We did not set out to create another basic. We wanted to create the essential layer that connects the SAISEI wardrobe. A piece to wear over our bodywear, beneath a jacket or entirely on its own. Something to reach for in the morning and continue wearing into the evening. Relaxed or refined, dressed up or pared back.
The perfect tee often becomes one of the most relied-upon pieces in a wardrobe, yet it can be one of the most difficult to find. Its simplicity requires precision. The fabric must feel light but considered. The neckline must sit correctly. The silhouette must fall with ease. Nothing should feel forced or overly designed.
Our Everyday Cotton Tee and Long Sleeve Tee have been in development for two years. We spent that time refining the weight, proportions and feeling of each piece, searching for the point at which every element came together naturally. The process began with 100% fine organic cotton. Made in Portugal in a lightweight single jersey, the fabric is soft, breathable and naturally slightly sheer. It has an airy quality that feels effortless against the body, offering comfort and complete freedom of movement throughout the day.

The short-sleeve Tee has a straight silhouette with a classic crew neckline and fine stitching. It falls easily through the body, creating a shape that feels clean without feeling rigid. The Long Sleeve Tee carries the same sense of ease in a more oversized form, with the option to size down for a closer fit.
Both were designed as natural companions to our bodywear. Layered over a bralette and leggings. Worn with a bodysuit or beneath French Terry. Paired with tailoring, denim or the pieces already lived in and loved. They bring another dimension to the SAISEI wardrobe, allowing its foundation pieces to move more fluidly beyond the body and into the day.
The result is quiet and uncomplicated.
A considered layer that does not define how or where it should be worn.
